Introducing Bob Hall
Bob with his plan of Ezekiel's Temple
The Lord called Bob to get involved in the Messianic Jewish movement in Richmond, Virginia, in 1986 after attending Bible college. He met his wife, Marilyn, at a Messianic Jewish gathering that year. In 1990 he was one of the founders of Tikvat Israel Messianic Congregation (Hope of Israel) in Richmond. He served in leadership there for several years.
In 1985 Bob had a visitation from the Lord which resulted in drawing the plans for Ezekiel's temple. He had taken a vocational course in drafting and architecture in high school and had actually thought of drawing the plans before the Lord told him to. After the drawings revealed a picture of the cross, tomb and resurrection, he began to see a mystery that the church has been blind to for over 2000 years: Ezekiel's temple is the pattern for the New Testament Church! He has since dedicated his life to seeking God's pattern and truth for His church. In 1990 he published his first book with the plans for the temple and how it applies to the individual Christian. His second book, published in 2012, is on how the New Testament fits into Ezekiel's temple. Although the New Testament contains the information for the church, it needs to be conformed into the pattern of Ezekiel’s temple to be properly built. The church has never been built according to the New Testament pattern, let alone Ezekiel's temple. However, now that we are in the third millennial “day” of the church, God’s spiritual temple is going to be built according to God’s plans and desire. Bob’s desire is to see and help that happen. The Lord cannot return until the church is built according to this pattern (see "The Shekinah" page on this web site for an explanation of this statement).
Shortly after he wrote his first book on Ezekiel’s temple, the Lord spoke to Bob again and told him to go on a forty-day fast and begin to write a book on the book of Revelation. During the fast the Lord led him to make a drawing of the vision of the throne room in Revelation. This drawing is on the cover of the book. He has drawn a significant biblical drawing on the covers of all of his recent books to help the reader visualize the concepts in the books. During the fast the Lord gave Bob many insights; but since he had not studied the book of Revelation before that time, he kept putting off completing the book until he thought he had enough revelation on the subject. That turned out to be twenty years later!
In 2004 the Lord told Bob to go on a spiritual Sabbatical. He is still on it studying, praying and writing 9 years later. He has been studying and seeking the Lord about His pattern for the church and seeking sound doctrine during this time. His third book, The Bible's Test for Truth, is a revelation he received on a scriptural method of how to form and test doctrine.
The books that Bob writes are not the standard Christian "fluff" you can get in the book stores of institutionalized Christianity. They are for those who want to go deeper than what people can get in the average church teachings and sermons. They are for those who want to rule and reign with Christ in the next age and help implement the Lord's plans and will in this age.
